We absolutely loved capturing Ifhtia & Humza's long-awaited Reception!! Both of them absolutely knocked it out of the park with this beautiful Bengali-Iraqi fusion wedding! Being a part of their beautiful reception was such a heart-warming feeling, it was overwhelming to see such beautiful souls come together despite everything that stood in their way. This night was truly memorable and one to remember, just like their love-story. These two had their intimate Nikkah during covid and finally chose to celebrate with a grand reception with all their friends and family in the summer! I am so glad they chose to wait out the uncertainties and storms of life and eventually execute the most beautiful night possible! Their event had so many details with a spectacular decor which brought the event to life, from the individual succulent-favours for each guest, locally grown, to the programs which were made with love by the bride herself, and even the flower centrepieces on each table which were perfectly matched with the bridesmaids of-course!! We started off with their bridal party portraits at the Guild Inn grounds and then moved along to capture their beautiful summer-y portraits in their traditional desi couture. Once they made their grand and phenomenal entrance to a beautiful "Raatan Lambiyan" played on the flute by the one and only Sahil Khan from @flute hypnosia, they were graciously welcomed with a beautiful cake cutting ceremony. Once dinner was served, the couple snuck away for a quick outfit-change. Ifhtia got some adorable shots with her Man-of-Honour and Bridesmaids, and the couple quickly headed back to the Reception. It was then that Humza eloquently displayed his speech praising his beautiful wife, and it's safe to say there was not a dry eye in the hall!! Once the speeches had everyone else speech-less, Ifhtia and Humza executed THE perfect dance, it was truly a sight for sore eyes. They also got everyone else grooving and moving along onto the dance floor. The wedding reception ended off with an adorable bouquet-toss and the rest was history!! Ifthia and Humza danced the night away!! Their love and connection is truly so beautiful and showcases itself in these beautiful portraits and moments. With a magical venue, a beautiful cake cutting, speeches, and a stunning first-dance, the night was truly one to remember!
