Rida and Sami’s reception was a grand celebration filled with memorable traditions, from a heartfelt cake-cutting to a hilarious joota chupai to countless family portraits that captured the love and laughter shared with everyone present. No traditional wedding is complete without a bit of fun, and Rida and Sami’s reception was no exception. The joota chuppai (shoe-stealing ceremony) brought laughter and excitement as Rida’s brothers and friends playfully stole Sami’s shoes, demanding a “ransom” before they would return them. Sami and his sisters and groomsmen, determined but good-natured, negotiated back and forth, filling the room with cheers and banter as everyone joined in the fun.
